Thailand! Koh Phi Phi

This is a view of the sand bar where the party is at on Koh Phi Phi. When the tsunami hit, it washed right over that, demolishing many hotels and killing a lot of people. It showed very few signs of the devastating event, but there is still buildings being reconstructed, and it was apparent that the loss was still fresh in the minds of the locals.
There are no cars on Koh Phi Phi and the beach was busy but really nice.

These pictures are taken at Maya Cove which is near Koh Phi Phi. It is here that "The Beach" was filmed so you can imagine that it was quite spectacular.
